Re: Lleyton Hewitt 2012 - Roland Garros

6-7(2) 3-6 7-6 3-6. But how Lleyton moved around the court, become optimistic before the tournaments on grass.

Re: Lleyton Hewitt 2012 - Roland Garros

After such a complex surgery, he came back and fought like a lion, he is a great champion, thanks to him for that. And Good Luck on grass court season.

Lleyton Hewitt says there are plenty of positives to take away. Says it was nice not to have any pain.

Re: Lleyton Hewitt 2012 - Roland Garros

Excellent news that he isn't feeling any pain physically. Feeling healthy is the most important thing at the moment. He came here with low expectations, so I am not too disappointed with the loss.

Hewitt: "After surgery I was still hungry to come back and have a shot. I feel like surgeries ruined the last couple of years." #RG12

Hewitt: "Wimbledon is a priority for me in a couple of weeks' time."

Hewitt: "Tomic's biggest strength is that he's a big match player."

Re: Lleyton Hewitt 2012 - US Open

the next focus for Lleyton, it's the U.S. Open, where Lleyton will play before the tournament, and will it, not know.

Re: Lleyton Hewitt 2012

“It was good fun playing with Lleyton and we tried our best but it wasn’t to be,” said Stosur.

“It was pretty tight and those super tie breaks can go any way and we definitely had the lead and the momentum and I probably got a bit tight on one of those returns there to go down match point and things can turn pretty quickly.”

“That is mixed doubles, we lost by two points, mixed doubles can go either way, it is only one or two points here or there,” Hewitt said.

The triple Olympians will depart England tomorrow to prepare for their next respective tournaments on the WTA and ATP Tour.

“It has been another great Olympic experience, it is just a shame that we were not able to do a little better,” Stosur said. “It is great to have the opportunity to mix with other athletes and sports and to represent Australia.

“I was lucky enough to be able to get out to see some other sports but I have to head off tomorrow to begin another tournament in Montreal on Tuesday ahead of the US Open.”

Re: Lleyton Hewitt 2012

Hewitt was philosophical about the match and the renowned battler did not rule out trying to wear the green and gold in Rio in 2016.
