Draft - for amendment to V-betting rules.

For correct set score and 1st set winner bets:

"A tennis match is deemed to have commenced with the first serve. If, for any reason, the scheduled number of sets is not completed, bets not determined when the match is completed are deemed void and are to be refunded."

For head to head bets:

match complete rule:

"A tennis match is deemed to have commenced with the first serve. If, for any reason, a competitor or a doubles team withdraws, is disqualified or fails to complete a match after it has commenced, all single bets are deemed void and are to be refunded, while affected multiple bets will be recalculated on the same basis as applying to the calculation of dividends in the case of postponed or abandoned sports betting events."

or, first set complete rule:

"A tennis match is deemed to have commenced with the first serve. If the first set is not completed all bets on this market will be void. The winner of the match is judged to be the player/doubles team who achieves the required number of sets to win the match, or in case of withdrawal/default, the remaining player/doubles team is deemed to be the winner."

For tournament, or outright bets:

"If a player fails to start this tournament all bets on that player will be void."

For country head to head bets in teams tennis - Davis Cup/Hopman cup/World Team Champs. (ie. France V USA):

"The winner will be the team to have won the required number of rubbers. If for any reason a team withdraws/is disqualified from the encounter, the win will be credited to the remaining team."

Note: If implementing these changes would be too much work for you, as I understand you would probably have a hard time running these forums, I would be more than happy to lend a helping hand in order to ensure the smooth running of procedures.

Cheers.

You truly are leading the way now jim

The current rule works both ways, you wouldn't be complaining if you had gained from the current rules

How much did you lose anyway?

but that's not the point, a booky must stick to their rules, otherwise they would be investigated and prosecuted for fraud.

lol... the current rule doesn't always work both ways, if your player is deemed not to be "leading" at the point of retirement, (ie. Davydenko v Sargsian) then all bets are void.

I lost just over 11k .
