Re: *** ~~~ Betting shrine ~~~ ***

I had an excellent start to Wimbledon +1413 on 25 bets. I sat a couple of new records. Lowest odd won on (1/100) and highest odd won on (49/1). That last one will be tough to beat! I had a feeling we'd see an upset yesterday and went for most of the rank outsiders and it paid off handsomely

Re: *** ~~~ Betting shrine ~~~ ***

Yesterday: +5750, 6 bets. Was very confident of my bets before the day started. Had a big amount on Benneteau to cover all other bets. Expected one of Falla and Ward to win, but then Darcis did for me.

Today: 7 bets, Kohli, Harrison, Querrery and Nishikori being the main ones. Not too confident though.

Also, put 50k into savings. Makes me feel old and wise

Put an 8th bet on Bedene after seeing Leo Mayer's Wimbledon record. Big one too. Even less confident now. Outcome of today's bets will have a major effect on my bets for the next few days.

Re: *** ~~~ Betting shrine ~~~ ***

Had a 6 match losing streak and won only one of the original 8 bets. Forced to put a big bet on Sijsling for damage control. Back to a career negative. Placed stupid bets today plus got really unlucky. Kohli and Bedene both losing really hurt. Add to that Harrison and Querrey. Net -11,170 today. -5420 for Wimbledon. Need to be really careful now as I don't want to remove the credits I put into savings.

This was my third win on Sijsling in three bets. Odds have decreased a lot though. First was was at 9, then 1.75, and now 0.25

Ouch, that was not so good....at least Sijsling won for you.

My day started off badly, with yet another Kohli loss. I thought he'd be good on grass, but now I am quite unlikely to bet on him for a long time. Things went better afterwards, and I finished the day on +458. Wimby so far: +1871. Total betting career: +2440. I've had a plus for several days straight now

For tomorrow, nine bets made. Relatively big bets on Federer and Murray but they won't win me much, so likely to be a calm day unless we see a major upset. Otherwise nothing very exciting. Didn't find any opportunities for big wins. Might add a bet on Youzhny later. I'd just like to know he's uninjured. If not, maybe a bet on Pospisil.

Re: *** ~~~ Betting shrine ~~~ ***

Hello buddies. I come from this thread: My betting strategy: progress and outcomes Since now I will put all my picks here, my thread will be only for summing up tournament statistics. However, I will follow all the points of my betting strategy that I described in my thread, and I will keep improving it.

Tomorrow a very tricky day. I don't see almost any interesting match to bet, too much risks and bad odds.

Steve Darcis - Lukasz Kubot
Pick: Lukasz Kubot
Odd: 1,56
Stake: 3/10 (10,807.72*0,1*0,3... 324 credits)

Darcis upset Rafa Nadal, who lost in the first round of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career. This impressive victory has changed the bookies opinion about Darcis options on this match. But, in my opinion, Nadal played very bad (he was probably not physically fine to compete at an acceptable level). Darcis was great and produced great shots, but his achievment is not something that, for me, says that he will be the favourite against Kubot. This will be a different match and Nadal upset is not relevant in this match (despite the fact that it can bring confidence to Darcis). Darcis can be the favourite (he is confident as I said) but the odds are not the correct odds. Kubot is not as underdog as bookies say. For this only reason it worth the credits to bet on Kubot, very good odd for the Polish. A similar situation happened with Rosol last year (he lost easily in the third round, 3-0 victory for Kohlschreiber in straight sets).

Julien Benneteau - Fernando Verdasco
Pick: Fernando Verdasco
Odd: 1,15
Stake: 2,5/10 (10,807.72*0,1*0,25... 270 credits)

This match will be close. In my opinion, after a disastrous start of the season, Fernando Verdasco is peaking and finding a good rythm. He had a close match against Feliciano Lopez who is doing a great grass season. In addition, Verdasco won Malisse, who was on fire but failed to defend the fourth round that he achieved last year (beating Verdasco on his way). Verdasco can make bad performances in 250 and 500 tournaments but in Slams he shows almost always a serious version of his tennis. He knows how to play 5-setter matches. Benneteau was close to defeat Federer last year but this year, after the indoor season of February, he is a shadow of the player that was. He isn't finding rythm and consistency, and despite the fact that he plays well on grass I don't see why Verdasco can win here. I do not see Verdasco favourite but Benneteau neither. I think that we can take profit of his odd, an odd that I think it is good.

Interesting to see that it has been a market odds change in the Verdasco - Benneteau match. Bookies predicted Verdasco as the underdog but now he is the favourite to win the match. You can see odd movements in different bookies here: http://www.oddsportal.com/tennis/uni...lien-UPq5pS9t/
