Wildcards Into Tennis Masters Cup

Every year, the Top 8 players qualify for the main TMC tournament at the end of the year while the other players are given the option of playing the side TMC tournament. This year, there's a chance that our defending champion and/or RG champion will not qualify for the TMC so I need your opinions on whether to give out WCs and if so, how many.

Only votes from PTS players will be considered.

Please vote wisely!

Apologies! I forgot to make the last poll public so I had to set up this new one!

I voted for the option which gets Prabu in, it would be harsh considering he's won the last 2 apparently.

I'd quite like a WC myself but it's not gonna happen

This needs to be looked into since the results were so close.

Damn I was away so couldn't vote

But clearly the defending champ must be granted a WC, especially when that individual is going for a 3-peat

Re: Wildcards Into Tennis Masters Cup

I mean 7/14 voted for an option that included a WC for the top-ranked GS champion so that can be negotiated. On the other hand, 4/14 voted for an option that included a WC for the defending champion...

Re: Wildcards Into Tennis Masters Cup

Nothing against Prabu, but if I miss out because he gets a wildcard in, I will be one pissed off man considering how far I've come this year. I deserve to be there.

However, if it results in me not being kicked out, then yes, Prabu can get a wildcard.

Re: Wildcards Into Tennis Masters Cup

So has there been a decision on this WC situation yet?

I'm going to try very hard to win Basel and Paris so I maybe won't have to rely on a WC But as you said there were 7/14 people voting for the top ranked GS winner so I'm hopeful!!!

Re: Wildcards Into Tennis Masters Cup

any updates on the PTS race yet?

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream.

Re: Wildcards Into Tennis Masters Cup

The crowds want BG there and not the likes of Bolar.

It's almost like asking whether someone wants Gonzalez or Robredo in the TMC.

Vamos Prabs

Re: Wildcards Into Tennis Masters Cup

But the majority didn't vote for him in the poll

We've decided to award a WC to Peta Pan because 1) she's the RG champion, 2) a similar WC system exists for the actual TMC and 3) she's really not that far away from #8 in the Race.
