The Don't Serve Pies or eat bagels Australian Open Thread

Yes, I know it's early, but this is the Auckland cheering thread where Gaston will be making a comeback to the tour.

So yes the title is in Maori.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Nāna nei i tiki mai whakawhiti te rā, Ā upane, ka upane Whiti te rā, hī in Auckland

Thanks for that thread. Never too early to encourage our Gaston on his comeback to competition.

And, I was supposing that it was Maori. I was visualizing the AKA Dance, reading the title.........

Best of LUCK to ALL my Faves in 2015

Good test for Gaston at the start of the year and he has done well in Auckland before and it's also the first match of the season for Ferrer.

Just see what happens.

Very hard first match of the year for me as David Ferrer is my second favourite player (for those who ignored it)
I well know how much David is a great player, very dangerous and who likes to fight until the end.
Anyway, i have a great capacity to forget if i used to love Gaston's opponent when he's playing
Sorry David, but Vamoooooos Gaston

His part of the draw is tough indeed, but let's leave the complains and just wish him a Good Luck!

5/7 6/3 6/2 for Ferrer. I suppose they've battled......haven't followed anything as it was too late.

Seems Gaston ran out of fitness, but the result isn't important here.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
