Re: Canadian Bacon, Moose and no hanging with the Mounties Toronto Thread

Gaston lost 6-1 6-4 to Moya.

A combo of lack of confidence and his first match on hardcourts in addition he had a ratio of 9-42 that is winners to unforced errors and that is not going to help anyone win a match. His backhand was poor today as well, sure it was windy, but it's the same for both players.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Gaston and Sebastian won the first set vs Haggard/Thomas 7-5 [now it's 3-4 in the 2nd, and GG&Seb to serve]

Now Gaston is off to Cincy now.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: The No Expectations US Open Thread

This one will be a tough one for Gaston, then again Seppi hasn't been in great form either and Gaston does have a poor record in New York, so anything can happen at this event.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
