He was broken twice in the last set and i didn't dare believe that he came back but he did! Thank you Gaston! Thanks to you all my colleagues know that i'm crazy!
That makes two of us! I've no idea how he played, but he's WON, (and saved me from a heart attack!)

Re: No Lurking Around the Reeperbahn Hamburg Cheering Thread

This really WAS a heart attack match, even for watching it live
Gaston was so confident and without any problems in the first set, and I don´t really know what happened then. He missed some balls and the concentration got lost. He started to scream, to throw his rackets and he was not satisfied at all. All these things helped Martin to win the 2nd set.
In the 3rd there were breaks and re-breaks all the time, but luckily in the end Gaston took his chances and won the match
But it really was so close!

I think Gaston has so good chances to get long in the tournament now that so many big names have withdrawn, he really should take this opportunity

Vamos Gaston

Tommy Robredo David Ferrer Pere Riba Fernando Verdasco

Pico Monaco ~ Edu Schwank ~ Stan Wawrinka ~ Dani Gimeno ~ David Marrero ~ Marc Lopez ~ Marco Chiudinelli ~ Marcel Granollers

I miss you on tour, Nors, Bjösse, Simon & Pim Pim

Well done Gaston! I was following the livescores too, and of course I was sooo nervous and scared about him! Tomorrow ESPN is going to show the Gaston/Greul match, but I won't be able to see it... Anyways, I'll be thinking about him! Vamos Gastón!!!

Re: No Lurking Around the Reeperbahn Hamburg Cheering Thread

Gaston won and Beto Martin is no clown on the surface and the score doesn't surprise me given the circumstances and he should in theory beat Simon easily, but he will need to on his toes as Simon is tricky.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I like that. Gaston is playing a Frenchie, which means they will show this match. And no, Simon isn't among the Frenchies I support so VAMOS GASTON!!!

Best of LUCK to ALL my Faves in 2015

Good matchday for me today and just hope the boys can win.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

And those idiots from Star Sports didnt even show it. They opted to show a replay of that boring Murray-Monfils match and are now showing Shitler versus some guy.

I sympathize. They're not showing the Gaudio-Simon match, either! (But they showed Kiefer vs. Myrni). Atrocious.
