Re: Royalty, Yuppies, Yachts, a bad Casino and no time for Jimmy's Bar Monte Carlo Thread

Thanks Eléa and Betty for your news!
I'm glad you had a good time and met all the MTF friends!
What on earth is the matter with Gastón? Why guards, for crissakes???
I hope he won't relax against Di Mauro now and reach QFs a bit calmer, because Robredo is playing very well!
VAMOS GASTON! STOP TORTURING YOURSELF AND YOUR BEST TENNIS WILL APPEAR!

Gaston leads 42 in the first. He was up a double break 30 before DiMauro came back (or Gaston let him come back) to 32 where DiMauro had bps. Luckily, Gaston saved them.

He is again a double break up, serving for the set at 52. Go Gastón.

He took the first 62. Great! DiMauro to serve.

Gastón takes the match 6-2 / 6-4. He had 68% 1st serve and won 74% of his 1st serves. Zero Dfs and 69% on 2nd serve. Pretty solid stats, I hope he can keep it up cause he might have to raise his level against Robredo. I wonder if Tommy is tired after today's match.

Re: Royalty, Yuppies, Yachts, a bad Casino and no time for Jimmy's Bar Monte Carlo Thread

He hasn't proven anything in this tournament as of yet and has defended his QF spot from last year, but got to move forward now and this is a big chance and he better not blow it.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
