He has got to the 2nd round and that is good enough.
I know, 2nd round is okay for Gaston. But still, he should be able to beat Labadze. It's not like he is a super master of grass and is in a super moment of form. I'm a bit dissapointed I got to say, but it's okay. It's grass after all!

At least he is going to see Argentina being defeated by Germany, not bad huh?

Labadze can actually play, he just chooses not to a lot of the time. Gaston doesn't like big servers and Labadze has an excellent serve with plenty of variation and Gaston on a surface he hates, well it would be far from a shock if he lost.

This tournament held no expectations and has reached them.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

No I am not shocked at all, I was just expecting a surprise. Plus I hate to see my favorites losing, no matter in what surface they are playing. I should know better anyway.

But nevermind, I'll live through this.

This is Gaston's Forum and all, but seing Marat and Feña playing on grass makes me laugh.

The match is not yet over but this Wimbledon was anyway positive for Gaston after all. He gained some points, which will make a difference when the Masters Cup arrives as Mel said, as well as some confidence in other surface than clay; and he will have watched some WC football matches live.

Good news is that the summer clay season is around the corner!

35 points doesn't really amount to that much at all, it doesn't really help him either way.

The football was more of an interest in reality, but he played a couple of matches here and it's neither here nor there.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Lol, how can you be so sure about that,eh? Besides it's worth to see this match no matter the score really, it's gonna be huge! Kinda "early final"..2 best teams of this WC...Too bad Gaston's losing vs Labadze, I only hope it's not a tactical loss in order o get to Berlin on time..

That was just my opinion, doesn't mean it is what I want, or that is what's going to happen.
And I never said I was sure, it's Football, no one can be sure.

I have been cheering for Argentina World Cup Team since 1990, and so glad to know that Gaston was there to witness the last match that Argentina WC team played Mexico, and he will be there to cheer again.
