Re: Gaston time to wake up in the Land Down Under AO thread

Gaston won for 6-3 6-2 6-3.

A few more wins would be nice.
With a little bit of luck, it should not be a tall order for Gaston ver. 2006.

Well, our Gaston has made it to the third round, to play the winner of Pavel-Santoro. The score: 6-3 6-2 6-3.

not only won he his single match. He and Chela also def. Marcos Baghdatis (CYP)/David Skoch (CZE)
with 6-1 6-2 in the first round doubles. Seems he was doing well today

Re: Gaston time to wake up in the Land Down Under AO thread

Haha I was a little worried about having to have Gaston v Andrei in the next round and although I am sad Pavel lost, at least I don't have 2 of my guys playing each other in the next round... not like Choupi since her Fabrice beat my Andrei today!

Good luck Gaston... beat the little flea that annoyed me so much today
(for the record I normally like watching Fabrice play, but when he's playing one of your favourites he becomes really annoying )

Re: Gaston time to wake up in the Land Down Under AO thread

He has to step it up now and the doubles was just a very funny match, where no one really cared that much.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
