Re: The I Don't Give a Crap if Gaston doesn't win a Match in Shanghai Thread

Hahahahahahaha, what a laugh this match was and Gaston making the semis of the Masters, just a very humourous thought. I am not even sure if I should give a review of a match.

Someone must have injected some of Cañas's resistence skills into him, couldn't do anything in that 1st set as he was blown away by a better player, then he got the combination of defence and aggression just right and was able to come through at the end and played better as Feña couldn't keep up the level as before.

Rosie, don't be too optimistic, this will actually give the morons more ammunition.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I guess I won't bother going to the scoring thread w all the bashing going on...

But, well done, Gaston! I haven't seen the match yet... of course... but looks like you mean business. I think Rogi better beware of Gaston tomorrow considering how he played vs. the Weasel yesterday, being so generous as to give him a set on carpet [oh well, Coria HAS won Basel and Rogi still hasn't -- funny how the Sud Americanos have won Rogi's tourney: Nalby, Guille and Fena, singles AND doubles!].

If the Weasel One can get a set off Rogi, then I shudder to think what Gaston can do to Rogi... s be muy interesante! Looking forward to it despite our asinine truncated coverage...

I'm happy that Gaston and Nalbers have made the SF. Too bad for Mariano -- hope Nalby can beat Davydorko tomorrow.

Hopp Rogi! Go Gonzo! Allez Gasquet!

Finding a white Bengal Tiger is easier than having a semi-intelligent debate on MTF.

The thing is Gaston I don't think believes he can beat him, he can ask for his autograph after the match, the thing is he has nothing to lose at all, so what happens, happens.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

GWH - I am not optimistic at all for tomorrow - I am sure Roger will kill Gaston - and don't worry - the signature was never meant to be permanent - it will probably be gone before the matches tomorrow, and most of the haters are too stupid to remember what was said or done more than 5 minutes ago - I just wanted to make a point!!!!!

And I know I've said this before - but I LIKE Davydenko It's cruel callng him "davydorko" - he is so sweet and inoffensive,

I mean I prefer to call him the PMK, it's a lot easier this way.

I meant being optimistic about the general populace, there are enough questions here and I will address those in the off season. Even then if Gaston wins, there will be stupid excuses flying around.

MTF breeds stupidity - so of course there will be stupid excuses - and you know I love the musicians. Btw - sent you a very quick PM!

Turns out Gaudio upgraded from bottom-feeder status. Congratties, G-man.

Re: The I Don't Give a Crap if Gaston doesn't win a Match in Shanghai Thread

Hi, guys, THIS IS SO GREAT!!!
I left home after seeing Gastón being demolished in the first set, and when I arrived at work I found he was 5-5!!!
I followed the match in Eurosport's live descriptions and I COULDN'T BELIEVE he was making such a comeback! This evening I will see it taped with the peace of mind of knowing we won!

When asked later what was the best about his game, he said "The attitude", and I couldn't agree more. To lose miserably in the first set and most of the second and to claw his way up, frighten off his opponent and win the match!

I've been working since then and haven't had the time to translate the amount of articles that have appeared. Sorry...
