We all have the same attitude about this tournament and Gaston, and it's great. We shouldn't care if he wins or loses. There is surely going to be a big crowd. anyways. I would love to go, but priorities!

Re: The I Don't Give a Crap if Gaston doesn't win a Match in Shanghai Thread

Good luck in Shanghai for Gaston, hope he can see some of the city while he is there. I am not that keen on this event myself, but if he wins a match the carnage that will happen on GM, will be funny to view.

Can you tell me how it feels to be hated?
Can you tell me how it feels to be loved?
Can you tell me how it feels to be respected?
Or is the answer none of the above

Go Gaston. We don't give a DAMN if you don't win a match. You've accomplished what you set out to do this year.

Talk to the hand because the ears don't hear you.

He left Argentina yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) and will arrive a little later on today - sorry I don't know the exact time because the time differences confuse me

Re: The I Don't Give a Crap if Gaston doesn't win a Match in Shanghai Thread

Thanks to Silverwhite for this and it seems the groups have been announced.

Source: http://sports.sina.com.cn/t/2005-11...431870750.shtml

Gold Group:
Rafael Nadal
Andre Agassi
Nikolay Davydenko
Gaston Gaudio

Red Group:
Roger Federer
Guillermo Coria
Ivan Ljubicic
David Nalbandian

Gaston can win a match and in theory he got the easier group.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

True that when you see the names on the paper you can have legit hopes of at least 1 match won. We'll see.

Best of LUCK to ALL my Faves in 2015

Well I don't mind too much because obviously Gaston isn't going to win the tournament... but it would be really lovely to see him win a match anyhow

I'm really looking forward to Shanghai actually because I get to see tennis on free-to-air TV again, and I'll get to see Gaston AND Ljubo

Re: The I Don't Give a Crap if Gaston doesn't win a Match in Shanghai Thread

No one here expects Gaston to win this tournament, but any ATP events on TV are worth watching except the grass court ones.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Good luck Gaston.
Totally agree!!!

It w be nice for Gaston to win vs. Rafa, why not? Gaston has had real matchplay on the surface and he HAS beaten Rafa [on Rafa's best surface].

Gaston will do what he does, if he wins, then this forum will have server problems, if he doesn't, well it won't be a surprise.

Exactly, he'll do his thing....if he gets to win a match, great - if he doesn't - great as well.
