Gastón plays against Acasuso tomorrow! Pity it has to be between these two, but I have no doubt about who I'll be cheering for!

From what I have read on the site, Youzhny retired at 0/2 in the 3rd set. So yes, Chucho won.

What I would like is for Gastón to go out on the court tomorrow and enjoy himself! His record against Chucho is 4-2 ( the last time he beat him was in Viña QF this year.
VAMOS GASTON!!!

Re: Guitars, Sombreros and Castanets, Or How To Dance Tango In Madrid, Olé!!!!

At least there will be an Argentine that I like in the 3rd round. I do think in theory that on an indoor court Chucho would be easier to beat than Youzhny, though if Chucho serves well that could change very quickly. I hope it's a good match with Gaston winning of course.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Well, let's say that I wanna see Gaston as the winner of that match. But, if Chucho wins, I won't be sad.

Gaston is second match on Court 1 after Haas and Hrbaty.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Gastón lost 7-6, 6-2.
I'm heartbroken. Do we have to resign ourselves to his being only a claycourt specialist? It's the fifth match in a row that he loses. I hate to imagine how he must be cursing himself right now!

Oh no - I've lost track of time and hadn't come in here expecting to see a result from him already. I'm really sorry he lost, and since we don't seem to be getting any matches from that court it looks like I won't even get to see him at all this week.
