Re: Where are we all from?

OK. It's been quite a long time since nothing's moved around here so far..so I thought I might share some pics I've taken of the snow we've had...

#1 #2 #3: shots from the back of my house
#4 #5: shots from the front
#6: overall view of the street...see how empty the front house is...small villages tend to be deserted...

Re: Where are we all from?

Leonandy - Beautiful pics! I'd like to visit China... and Canada too, for that matter!

Choupi - Lovely snow! We don't have that here (only a very unusual cold weather since November and lots of rain), only on the top of certain mountains

Re: Where are we all from?

Adri, I'm glad if I have helped you learn a bit more about my country... Yes, we have snow. And the pics I've posted don't show the real amount as I took them early in the morning. When it has finally stopped snowing, we had around 5 inches on the ground.

Re: Where are we all from?

Choupi, those are great! How nice to live high up, with that lovely open view from the back of the house. I see you´re putting the new camera to good use!

Re: Where are we all from?

Thanks for the lovely pics Choupi. We still haven't got the snow to join you yet - but it's clouding over a lot now - so I think there's a fair chance I'll wake up to some tomorrow.

Yes RF, you're so right! That's beautiful when it snows, no matter where exactly...

And Betty, how I understand your cats...It's really freezing, but hey, that's the winter that requires so...

Those pics are so lovely! Snow looks so beautiful when it's on the trees. We got some snow last night- about 3 inches. Not enough to get out of work Oh well! Thanks for those pics Choupi!

Re: Where are we all from?

No snow here. Just wet, nasty rain. I wish I had a digital camera to capture things. My birthday is coming up, so.....*rubbing hands together*...that will be my present.

Re: Where are we all from?

Hey Tiff, I wish you get your present... You know, I've been reluctant to buy a digital camera...I was thinking I didn't have the use of it. But let me tell you that now that I have it, there's no single day when I don't have fun with it! Even Pinky seems to have fun, playing the model!!!!!

The cost thing has been the reason why I don't have one right now. Now that I have a good computer, I really want the digital camera. Maybe I can convince my mom that having one will enhance my quality of life.....
