Robert, how was the crowd reaction to him? Good to hear that he was able to play well.

Hope Lombardo has been drilling him hard in the serving training.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Prensa Tenis calls it a Resounding Debut.

It goes on to say that the court was packed for Gaudio´s highly awaited debut. He played against the lucky loser because Guzman had a stomach ailment. He showed a lot of confidence, especially with his serve, which allowed him to make the most of his baseline shots and completely obliterate his rival.

He said "It will be difficult to play against Zabaleta because we´re great friends. It´s always nice to play with him".

Excellent to see that the Chileans went out there to support Gaston. Lombardo, well he is coaching Gaston and Roitman, as for him as a coach, he isn't too bad, there aren't that many available and the ones that are don't want to travel.

Gaston needs matches and plenty of them to iron out the serving kinks, he can't afford to have 15 doubles, it's not womens tennis.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

In an interview they asked Gastón what was he working on with his new coach, and he answered that it was mainly the attitude he should have, as if the technical part wasn´t so important. A gossip mag said Gastón went to train with Lombardo the other day at the Vilas Club and left after only half an hour, but it isn´t a reliable source.

We lost....
Mariano won in three sets, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3
I´m afraid this will make it more difficult to get WCs now...

Kind of expected it. Match went to 3 sets, at least.

Don't think this defeat will affect things concerning the wildcards. We'll see.
