Javier Ugarte, Marisio, enviado especial

For me Gaudio must have play two or three futures or challenges, he need to play more time, it's wrong play atp's tournaments, now it don't level to play with 300 rank player.

I hope that is not retire i think he has something to give to tennis

No good news
It'll make me really sad if he decides to retire, but if he feels that down mentally, it's no use going on.
I hope he takes a break but that it won't be definitive.

Not that I know of anything but what do you think of this article?:

They apparently edited the article and if you follow the link (http://www.lanacion.com.ar/deportiva...nota_id=982542),
there's no mention of Franco.

Here (pic of Gaston's practice), I see a familiar face by Gaston but that is not Franco:
http://www.fuebuena.com.ar/?p=693#more-693
But, this does not necessary mean Franco is not anymore Gaston's coach.

That's all I could find anything about Franco for now.

I can't see the pics here, but I read somewhere that, as his own coach couldn't be there, Martin Jaite was with Gaston

Re: Better to die on your feet, than live on your knees, just do your best in Viña

I haven´t been able to find anything on the web about his splitting up with Davin, so all we have is a rumor that appeared on TyC Sports.
A friend in our Yahoo group said she´d heard the news during the TyC transmission of some match from Viña. The commentator said that Gastón is no longer with Davin OR with his shrink Pécora and that he will continue training together with his friend Zabaleta sharing his coach, Mariano Hood.
I for one believe it´s probably time to try something new, have a few laughs and not feel so driven. Pécora has been working with him for years, and the results in the past two have been dismal. A year ago he was already in serious trouble. He could have quoted Woody Allen who said: “I´ve been seeing an analyst for 15 years. I'm going to give him one more year and then I'm going to Lourdes”.

Re: Better to die on your feet, than live on your knees, just do your best in Viña

Gastón will play an exhibition match in aid of the victims of the floods in the province of Salta. The match will take place in Salta on Feb. 12th, probably against Pico Mónaco.

Gastón said that he loves to be able to help, especially in a situation like this. There are some nice pics of the press conference where he appears with the Welfare Minister at the Casa de Salta, but I can´t download them. Check out the one in Clarín:

Thanks for the report, Vale.

Gaston looked joyous when the photo was taken.

So nice to see him smiling like that...

This is a charity for the flood victims but might help Gaston himself, too. Have a lot of fun, Gaston!
