Another hard training day today. Twice. In the morning and in the afternoon. Gaston's last match on Center Court tomorrow. We'll be all there, don't worry.

Best of LUCK to ALL my Faves in 2015

Gaston lost 6-1 6-2 and as I didn't see the match, there isn't anything I can say except it took 71 minutes and there were lots of 30 all and deuce points on Ferrero's serve, but he couldn't break often enough.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Spätzle is good and so is hopefully the tennis in Stuttgart Thread

Ok, I was at the match.....Well, Ferrero played a great match, and Gaston did too many errors to bother him. The score doesn't say that the 2nd set has been tighter than the 1st one. Gaston wasn't resigning. He was risking, but got broken early. Anyway, he fought to break back. Pb was his consistency. He could make great points but not enough in a row to win games. So, Ferrero broke him again and that was the end of it all.

Yes, Gaston lost, and yes, he didn't deserve to win that match, but....he fought and at least, he tried. Hence why he could leave the court with his head up high.....or at least, upper than after some other matches I saw him play.

Best of LUCK to ALL my Faves in 2015

I was following the match online yesterday, and was really disapointed the first set but I thought he was trying in the 2nd and before I knew it it was OVER. I feel like he is suffering on the court and wished he was not there

Re: Cieszę się, że się cieszysz playing qualies in Sopot Thread

Gaston is off to Poland and play Sopot, it will be very unlikely he will get a WC, so he is going to play qualies and that's a good for him.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Cieszę się, że się cieszysz playing qualies in Sopot Thread

Gaston def Głodkowski 6-0 6-0

He won a match, so that is something positive, even though it wasn't much opposition.

Now he plays Owsian.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
