Re: Mardy in Cinci....can he go one step further?

You never know, Andre's not been playing so well recently, Mardy still has a chance as long as he's back in shape.

*is being ever the optimist * Best of luck to Mardy.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

AGASSI? THAT WOULD BE A HELL OF A GAME. HAHA.
agassi does not play as well as he did few years ago, so i think if mardy plays very well, this game should be intresting!
good luck mardy!

Re: Mardy in Cinci....can he go one step further?

One step further? Let's just take it one step at a time, he's got Agassi to worry about. Andre may not be in top form but he may be wanting revenge for that Siebel loss earlier this year.

I just hope Mardy is healthy and feeling well.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: Mardy in Cinci....can he go one step further?

This is a tough one for Mardy, but he just needs to win a match like this one to just get himself going after going into a slump at the beginning of the hard court season.

"The artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without work."

Go Federer, Nadal!!!

Yea... this is a BASTARD of a draw for Mardy... I hope his back is ok but it's his head I worry about more He and Andre both need a good win really badly and I think they'll both want it a lot... it might come down to who wants it more

Re: Mardy in Cinci....can he go one step further?

Mardy has just retired from his 1st round in the 3rd set, the score 1-4. On the changeover at 1-2 I believe Mardy might have been taken care of by the trainer.

Mardy Get better VERY VERY soon!!
