Re: who is playing there?

Daniel Nestor and Mark Knowles

Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan

Wayne Black and Kevin Ullyett

Jonas Bjorkman and Todd Woodbridge

Michael Llorda and Fabrice Santoro (they are currently in 6th place but they are in because they are slam winner in AO and will stay in top 20, Malisse and Oliver Rochus are to far from them to have the chance to overtake them in the slam winner category)

If Llorda and Santoro stays in top 7, Malisse and Rochus will be in too as I don't think they will drop out of top 20.

Re: who is playing there?

I believe that Bhupathi/Mirnyi have qualified, since the draw in Paris put Paes/Rikl vs Damm/Suk in the 1st round, the winner could play Arthurs/Hanley in the QF and Etlis/Rodriguez in the SF.
Palmer/Vizner are the only couple below them in the other half of the draw.

Re: who is playing there?

Palmer/Vizner and Paes/Rikl lost in Paris, and therefor were eliminated from the race to Houston.
There are 3 teams left to compete for 1 or 2 remaining places.
Presumably, Damm/Suk and Etlis/Rodriguez will qualify if they reach the SF. Hanley/Arthurs will have to at least get to the final.
If less than 2 of these teams overtake Llodra/Santoro, Malisse/Rochus will qualify as Grand-Slam winners.

Re: who is playing there?

Going to be a great tournament, wish there was more coverage. On the Masters Cup DVD there was no talk of doubles, nor on SkyTV.

Does anyone get any on telly?

Re: who is playing there?

Etlis/Rodriguez lost to Novak/Hrbaty in R1. Since Damn/Suk and Hanley/Arthurs has a potential face off in R2, I think Malisse and Rochus are qualified now.

Re: who is playing there?

Need to check the teams' best 14 result to verify that... if Damm/Suk have less than 8 they overtake Llodra/Santoro with their QF points, which means they will be in the top 7 and L/S could drop to 8th...

Re: who is playing there?

It's confirmed!
Malisse/Rochus qualify as grand-slam winners
Damm/Suk will be at least alternate and replace injured Llodra/Santoro
If Arthurs/Hanley reach the final at Paris they get the last spot at Houston, otherwise Etlis/Rodriguez qualify.

Re: who is playing there?

It's over!
Arthurs/Hanley lost to Bjorkman/Woodbridge, and so Etlis/Rodriguez are the last qualifyers to Houston.
