Please, people, lets not jinx him here. And here, I was here, early in the season, thinking that there was no way possible, that JC would miss Houston. I do hope he can win this, give him some confidense for next season. The crowd should fire him up, too. He should be able to feed off of the energy of the pro Ferrero crowd. Anyway, here's to a hopefully successful defense of his title.

Fine words, Fedex. The crowd should really help him.

Re: JUAN CARLOS FERRERO CHEERING THREAD

yeah i wish i cud say, he's gonna defend it but in all truth, with his form n confidence i cant see it. the fact that his fitness isnt d best either mitent help. id dearly luv him 2 win it cos its my fav touney of d yr. d crowd shud help him tho, remember last yr? first round against wayne ferreira - 2 match pts down - d crowd went mad n sumhow he pulled it off. great match, hope the crowd gets lik dat again. he beat feds in d semi last yr, that 2 was a fantastic match....go jc!

if he does well in this....hu knows, he mite 'be bak' sooner than hoped/xpected.
