Re: ATP rankings - U18

Hopefully they can make it and Tennis Australia doesn't abandon them for a younger kid when they start going through a rough time like they have done so many times before. The bar that Tennis Australia sets will be extremely high given what Tomic has accomplished as seen by Kubler's wildcard into the AO where Tennis Australia thought he could replicate Tomic from the year before. They have already started hyping up the generations that follow them as well (eg Jay Andrijic). There seems to be some positive things like the appointments of Mantilla, Ruffles and I think Pat Cash has been doing a bit of work with them but unfortunately the same board is still in place because of a pathetic voting situation and until that situation is rectified we will still be underachieving in the world of tennis.

Baker (USA) - Bedene (SLO) - Bellucci (BRA) - Berta (SWE) - Cuevas (URU) - Domijan (USA) - Ebden (AUS) - Estrella (DOM) - Grigelis (LTU) - Guccione (AUS) - Heliovaara (FIN) - Kavcic (SLO) - King (BAH) - Kontinen (FIN) - Kubler (AUS) - Lajovic (SRB) - Matosevic (AUS) - McGee (IRE) - Millman (AUS) - Mitchell (AUS) - Nielsen (DEN) - Nieminen (FIN) - Paire (FRA) - Udomchoke (THA)

There are some 1995 born who already played on pro tour:
Stefano Napolitano (ITA), Albert Alcaraz Ivorra (ESP) and Federico Ferreira Silva (POR), afaik.

None of them managed to gain his first ATP point.

Quote:
And in the class of 1989 Born what is the TOP 5 ?
113. Donald Young (USA)
195. Benoit Paire (FRA)
197. Greg Jones (AUS)

204. Martin Klizan (SVK)

Not quite sure the above list is correct, though.

Re: ATP rankings - U18

Is it me or the 1989, 1990, 1991 born player class is not very good ... The 1992 one is good with Tomic, Harrison and Krajinovic ... And the 1993 and 1994 is normal ...

I don't know if the 1995 born class have some good players but in the 1996 one it have Ronit Singh Bisht who is VERY good !!! Hope to see him win a ATP match !
