Best current junior in the world?

I haven't followed any junior tennis in about 4 years. Who's the best junior out there at the moment. And where is he from?

Talking Re: Best current junior in the world?

The actual N1 is the dutch Thiemo de Bakker, he won Wimbledon, Casablanca (Mexico) Junior Cup, semifinalist in Roland Garros... After Wimbledon Junior, he doesnt play junior tournaments, he started to play futures tournaments (Professionals), he is 445 ATP now....

But the really U-18 now is the argentinian Juan Martin del Potro (92 ATP) , he is not ranked because he is not playing junior tournaments (his last junior tournament was Roland Garros 2005, lost w/Andy Murray).

Re: Best current junior in the world?

Thiemo de Bakker (NED) and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (RUS) are the 2006 ITF Junior World Champions.

De Bakker, 18, is the first ever Dutch player to be named Boys’ World Champion. Despite only playing only nine events during the first half of the year, he captured six singles titles including his first Grand Slam success at Wimbledon. He was also a semifinalist at Roland Garros and had an overall win-loss record of 42-3.

But indeed some guys like jmdp are better at the moment
