Re: Who is better?

Buckland is a better presenter, but Bailey knew more about tennis. And I liked his banted with Petchey.

Can we please remove Barry Millns and Sam Smith from commentary as well

Re: Who is better?

Buckland needs to stop with the puns, I may have to run down to the sky sports studio and wallop him one.

Re: Who is better?

Buckland is a proper broadcaster, not an ex-player.

That came across with his Federer interviewer - text-book.

Barry Cowan, however, is an embarassment.

Re: Who is better?

Buckland seems a bit too formal and serious at times, but I didn't like Bailey at first either...so I'll give him some time...

More knowledgable perhaps, but more relaxed??

He had a permanently wooden look on his face.

Buckland used to be a top-class tennis correspondent for BBC Radio.

That is proper breeding for a broadcaster.

Bailey's preparation was to once almost beat Goran Ivanisevic.

Cowan nearly beat Sampras.

It doesn't make them good broadcasters. Frankly, they weren't even very good players.

Re: Who is better?

Barry Manilow.

But seriously, who the fuck are these people?

GOOD LUCK: Safin, Murray, Ancic, Gasquet, Tipsarevic, Tsonga, Isner, Santoro.
BOO: Puerta, Davydenko, Kiefer, Ljubicic, Canas and all the DOPERS.

There is also a very special place in my heart for the three greatest WTA players of all time ---- Martina Hingis, Lindsay Davenport, and Monica Seles!!!
