Nadal def. Mello 7-6(7) 6-2 - Continues winning streak!

This Nadal is good

Possibly one of the great moments in his young career

Not quite sure what was up in the first set, 3(?) set points saved

Comfortable in the second though

More difficult than I expected, but got it done in the end.

Yeah who is Mello, can some one tell me something about his game, rafa really pissed me off letting him take him to a tiebreak that he almost lost.

That is not sending the right message to Misah Rafa

As expected, of course still happy he managed!

It wasn't going so easily in the first set - did anyone see the match?
(I can't - only dratted SB...)

I guess he spent the first set scratching his balls and not really paying attention, but they didnt itch in the 2nd

A little rough in the beginning, but he just refuses to give up. Well done.

He scared me the first set.

But came back nicely the 2nd set.

Re: Nadal def. Mello 7-6(7) 6-2 - Continues winning streak!

Rafa always plays relatively badly in his first match as it takes him a while to get used to new surfaces. I'm sure that's the only reason why he struggled in the first set and I'm sure normal service will resume against Rochus.

Am I the only person who found it amusing that these posts followed each other and wasn't intended as a follow-on joke
