Federer's looks so underdeveloped. He's come a long way, obviously. What a ball-striker, though.

Re: Federer vs Agassi 1998

He still had a very smooth style then, but his serve was completely different.

I had luck and had seen this match on Eurosport "live" That was only the 5th match for Roger in the main tour.

Re: Federer vs Agassi 1998

I would have loved to see the interview with Agassi after the match. "Yeah. He probably has the potential to become a go(o)d-player, but he has a long way to go"

Re: Federer vs Agassi 1998

Amazing! He had such a baby face and his serve is different.

Comment in the end: " I think we will see a lot more of Federer..."
We sure are seeing him a lot.

I bet Agassi never knew he was playing the future greatest player of all time

Strange looking at a young Fed.

Actually he said that Roger would still make many errors, but that he would learn quick and that he (Andre) was very impressed of him

(Some scenes of the match and a short statement of Andre are on the "Replay" DVD of Roger)

Thanks for the video. It is amazing to think how much Federer has changed since then.
