And Rafa's 89% first serve percentage and lack of UEs had nothing to do with Roddick. What's your point?

I'll agree though that Andy played an awful match. Rafa shouldn't have had such an easy time of it against the #3 player in the world...doesn't change how cleanly Rafa was striking the ball.

Re: Nadal demolishes Roddick 6-4 6-3

I totally misred this match, I knew roddick would not break Nadal but I though he could win it on serve alone, and I was wrong...

This match shows that roddick is not a power player his forehand is not imposing enough on the court, his forehand has alot of spin and does nto land deep enough...

glenn glenn glenn...glenn glenn glenn...you obviously didn't watch the match, so why bother posting? You ever see Nadal play in real life? You ever see Nadal's balls in real life? Nono, not those two. I voted Rafa in two sets, but at the start of IW, I didn't think he was going to make it very far.

His backhand wasn't great today, still his depth is too short and a player like Gonzalez or whoever would've cracked a lot of those balls for winners. I don't think it's possible to play a less sensible match against Rafa than Andy did, that's all

Adam... just be happy... your poor little dreadlocked dancer might well be allowed to *stop* dancing real soon (tomorrow, that is!)

Raf's going to take this title. I can only wonder about Rogelio's comments should he have watched this match of his dear Main Rival!

All the ESPN commentators were talking about how it was faster today than it was a day or two ago because of the heat and all. Dunno. Doesn't matter, at least not to me.

Great match from Rafa! And his confidence must be very high after this beating he administered . I would have loved to see him play against Roger tomorrow.

He can't volley. That's the fact. When he goes to the net he only embarasses himself. If Ljubo, a very slow player, could pass him at will, this bitchdom today was totally expected.

If he did that serve percentage against Soderling, he'd be schooled anyway. Roddick can't return serves, can't hit a winner from the baseline. He's not a power player. He's a grinder-pusher today.

is it? the ball moves very fast there b/c of the elevation i know that, which is why Roddick was serving in the 140's but IW is faster than Miami, no? I know Agassi always used to win Miami b/c it was slow, and not do much at IW b/c of the speed/

I have watched the match and Nadal played in Brazil two years ago. Shut up.

You only have to assume that Federer is not on the tourney since last sunday, it so difficult to understand that???

Roddick has never played his best tennis in Indian Wells so I am not that surprised.
