Question Too many Aces?

So I'm watching the Roddick Nadal match now, I really enjoy the good rallies , but to me, watching all these Aces is boring (I think that even 1 Ace a game is too much), I appreciate that hitting an Ace is hard, especially at 140 mph, but I don't think that it's interesting to watch...

If there was a player that would hit only aces and his game would suck, would be a fan?

Re: Too many Aces?

You think this match has too many aces?

You've clearly never seen a Sampras-Ivanisevic match.

Re: Too many Aces?

The match only has a total of 17 aces so far, thats not THAT many between two players.

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo

Re: Too many Aces?

I know there are matches with many more aces, that just makes my point even more valid (IMO), whats the fun in watching a so called "Good Ace"

Especially when one of the players is Andy Roddick.

Maybe everyone should serve under-arm from now on.

Re: Too many Aces?

I haven't seen that Nadal-Rod match, but I downloaded Ben Becker vs. Ivo Karlovic and had to stop watching in the middle.

LIKE: Stepanek, Youzhny, Stakhovsky, Raonic, Pouille || HATE: Nadal, Almagro, Monfils, Troicki, Simon, Tipsarevic

It might not be your favorite, but tennis needs the variety. Everyone from Karlovic to Mello to Roddick to Davydenko make the game what it is.

I think the better question is, why don't you not dislike Federer so much.
