Djokovic vs Korolev (3rd IW) Who will win?

Holy fuck, these kids grow up fast

These two are no doubt the players that have caused a stronger impact on me at first sight in past years when they were almost "no names", so it´s great to see both in a 3rd round of a MS event. This is the first time they play each other and *fingers crossed* I hope to get some coverage from it. May the better player on the day win.

I think it will be closer than people thinks, I pick Korolev to upset Nole and win this 2-1

I like both, but I vote Nole 2-1

A post that deserves to be on MTF Hall of Fame soon:

I doubt you'll get coverage since they play on court 4 . Either way Nole is a favourite and shold win and this is a rare time for him to play a younger player and a future rival

Pass the popcorn This has the potential to be a close match, I will go out and predict RMK in 3, capitalizing on a bad serving day from Nole.

Should be a fun match between two potential big guns of the future and I think Nole will win in 3.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I have also never seen Korolev. I suppose it would be the acme of ignorance to expect GM people to make an accurate assesment of a young player, but I'll ask anyway....What is Korolev's game like?

Re: Djokovic vs Korolev (3rd IW) Who will win?

Nole in two.

Zhenya still has awfully primitive game. It's effective when he's on but Nole has too many weapons for him, I think.
*hope to be proven wrong though*

Re: Djokovic vs Korolev (3rd IW) Who will win?

I'm really surprised that there are people who have never seen korolev. You had the chance last year in RG against gaudio in five sets and recently in las vegas semifinal.

You'll see an unbelievable incredible shocking arm acceleration. He's like a bomber man without pity, a really hard-hitting from forehand n backhand. I say without pity because he's unconscious to hit the ball from anywhere without considering the fundamental principles of the game, but he's improving on this day after day(he's just 19).

At some point he plays similar to djokovic.
