Do you think Paradorn can come back after ranking drop more than #80?

He lost in Indian Wells today 4-6 and 2-6 and it caused him to lost the points 220 and his ranking will drop down more than #80 for the first time. Paradorn just recover from wrist injury which caused he to stopp playing almost 2 month after Australian open 2007

Poor Paradonr><..

He`s been one of my favourites for many years!

I wish he could have consolidated his spot in the Top-10 when he reached those lofty heights a few years back..

...It`s a long road back for him now..

People have come back from worse injuries, so he has a chance but I doubt it.

Maybe he need to play and win challenger 3-4 tournaments to get about 150-200 points to come back in top 50-60

This is really very sad, he probably gave Fed one of his toughest matches in 2006 at Basel in the semifinal. He had Fed down 5-3 in the 3rd set tiebreak.

well he'll be on clay soon, so he'll have no chance then. the best he can hope for are some good runs on grass then a solid US hard court season

Of course, he is such a talented player. I think most of his problem is mental, he has the game to trouble anybody.

Re: Do you think Paradorn can come back after ranking drop more than #80?

I know this sounds strange but in some way it is a blessing for him that the clay season is about to start actually. Having failed to defend his semi final points here, Srichaphan now has absolutely no points at all to defend until after Roland Garros. Additionally no one expects him to do anything at all during the clay season.

So for the next couple of months Srichaphan can simply work on getting his strokes back in gear without any expectations or pressure. I don't expect him to win many matches, probably none, but he need not fear falling out of the top 100 anytime soon and can just focus on the grass and US hardcourts where again he didn't do great last year and doesn't have alot of points to defend.

I support......

Thats a shame, but yeah he can come back!!! I think he'd have the mental strength to be able to, so why not!!!

He's too one-dimensional to make it back up to the top. I don't think he'll do better than top 50 anymore, and will probably gradually fade away.

Maybe if he can skip the clay season by playing some challengers, he can prepare himself for the grass season.

I don't see him coming back. His career is done IMO.
