Re: JMDP or Richie....?

JMDP might nick it, gasquet hasn't played in a while. Hopefully they show this on sky sports instead of some crap match. Anyone know if sky are doing interactive btw?

Yes, I think they're doing interractive, but it's 5th match on court, which means a start of well after midnight here I reckon, so coverage will have ended by then And much as I want JM to win, I think Gasquet will do it. He has far more experience of these big events, and big stadiums, and I think JM might be a bit overawed. Hope it's a good match though.

Re: JMDP or Richie....?

I don't think JMDP is easily overawed. And I will be surprised if he doesn't beat Gasquet, who seems to have lost his way a little recently.

Well surprisingly he is! Because he is such a good player, and already making a name for himself, people tend to forget he's stiil a kid, and was still taking his high school exams a couple of months ago! He was really nervous playing Guga last night because the man was a big name, and a legend while he was growing up, and he got very nervous against Blake too. I'm sure that will all change in the years to come, as he grows up, and matures, and starts to win tournamernts, but at the moment he is still very much the new kid on the block, and the big occasion does still scare him sometimes!
