Harder than expected Nole went through 1st round of Dubai Tennis Championships. Possible 1/4 final encounter with mighty Federer is getting ever so closer.

Re: Dubai: Djokovic beats Vliegen 4:6, 6:4, 6:3

don't u mean schooling by Federer is now inevitable?

Fed takes delight in really sticking it to Nole!

Please see here if interested in downloading tennis matches.

Contrary to popular belief, I am not a Rafa hater. I am, however, a RAFATARD hater and therefore take endless delight in each Rafa loss as it allows me to sock it hard to his tards. Do try and understand the difference (TARDS)! Don't get me started on Choke-ovic though. Him I do despise. And his TARDS are the lowest of the low .

Federer will whip him as usual so this win is delaying the inevitable.

It was a rather tight if not really tough match. Kristof used all his chances to break and Nole didn't serve well. He trailed 1-3 and then won the rest of the game

Nole is not afraid of Roger and he is looking forward to the challenge .

Vliegen blew it rather from 3-1 in the final set. Needs to get better at closing out matches from a winning lead - he's too often a dangerous player that the better players end up putting away in the end rather than a seed killer.

Good win for Nole, that was a dangerous match for him.

Vliegen threw it away in the third. Good for Nole to come through though.

I like Nole a lot, but i have to admit I do take some sort of weird pleasure out of seeing him in Fed's part of a draw just because Fed does enjoy smacking him around and you have to love watching Roger work when he's pissed off with someone.
