Robin "Toad" Söderling def David Ferrer 7-6 (13) 6-1 for the 4th time in a row

Robin once again defeated Ferrer and he is 4-0 in their matches and after a huge tiebreaker not a surprise that the 2nd set was easy.

Will Söderling follow through or as usual lose a winnable match?

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

"Toad" Söderling def. Ferrer 7-6 (13) 6-1

Sick tiebreak, I think David had 4 SP's, and Robin a couple too before closing it out.

Good win for Söderling. He could win his quarter, but will probably go out against Simon or Santoro...

I don't like hypocrites, but even worse are the ones who think it's OK to be an asshole as long as you are not hypocritical.

the road to quarter final is open with hrbaty in the second, the 2007 hrbaty shouldn't be a problem for robin

For those who want to know why Robin is called the toad, here are the reasons.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Robin "Toad" Söderling def David Ferrer 7-6 (13) 6-1 for the 4th time in a row

Hrbaty likes the playing the Toad as Söderling doesn't have great variation and is 3-0 in their matches.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

They have not played for a year and a half now, one of the wins was after an injury for Robin and the last was when he was in deepest hole and Hrbaty was on top of his game.
2007 doesn't look like this

Yes, the toad dominates over the frog in this battle.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Ferrer in the last couple months lost two long tie-breaks: 14-16 to Federer and now 13-15 to Soderling Last year he also lost 8-10 to Robredo after 6:1 leading.
