Bi monthly REVIEW, shocks so far...

gael monfils gives a 6-0 to army boy baghdatis at the AO

230 ranked JO-Wilfried tsonga takes a set off the Duck master roddick

Federer destroys roddick in the AO after the MASSIVE hype around the ducks "expedition match" victory over him.

Mardy fish lost to a 220 ranked jerome haehnel during the hopman cup.
Mardy fish into a Quarter-Finals of a Grand slam weeks later?!

Xavier Malisse has 2 ATP titles!

Andy Murray won his second ATP but the british press don't care.

ivo karlovic hits 19 trillion aces but is still a 1Dimensional journeyman beaten by 2 teenager's in 2 weeks...

any others?

Wait. Andy Murray's accomplishments are NOT front page news in Britain? Say it isn't so!

Oh they do. They hype is ratcheting up nicely pre-Wimbledon for him.

Tsonga is a really good player, it it weren't for his lack of fitness and injuries I could see him in top 50 easily.

He hasnt really dtruggled that much. He has made it to at least the quarters at every tournament this year other than the Aussie Open were it was R16.

Of course a couple of his defeats have been a bit disappointing (Guiccone, Soderling) but its not like hes having a terrible year.

It's pre-Wimbledon already?

lol at "expedition." Playing Roger is rather like climbing a mountain.

Re: Bi monthly REVIEW, shocks so far...

i think the biggest shock is gonzalez making the finals of the Australian Open. not that he MADE the finals, but the people he beat and the way he beat them to get there. especially his semifinals, 3 UE's?

and then his dip in form.
