Congrats to Horna for winning, and to "Jerry" for starting the thread without which his life would have no meaning.

Well done Lucho!

The Peruvian played very well. And Nalbandian served poorly... his back problems might have something to do with that.

Re: Horna def Nalbandian 6-4 6-3 (RR format)

Well.... see the player in your avatar

Very well for Horna.
David didn't show up today: was out of timing and without distance.
Clearly the first match after a long time.
Nice to see Lucho in this level.
Hoping for David to weak up and get his level back

Yes, the TV said something about that.. I knew about the knee (he played with the little band today) but I was surprised when I heard that he was having back problems too.

I worked with his former PT (hockey seleccion), and he's very good, but He has some ideas I don't share. For example to correct Nalbo's bad muscular work (the work he did as young made some muscles more stronger than others and that's what caused him those abdominals injuries specially when he played on clay and other problems too), he made Nalbo gain weight (to protect some zones with fat and work musculation later)
I know that tecnich but I don't think is good for a tennis player. I think David is seeing the consecuences now. That and the horrible half year he had in 2006 playing injured for almost 4 months.
Hoping for him to come back to the level we know he has.

And yeah, he served bad today

What a joke Fat Dave is. Perhaps its time to turn to the juice like his Argie buddies.

Never in doubt Lucho.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
