Re: Who will win Baggy or Gilles?

The points of the quarterfinal at Sydney he reached this year will be replaced by the points he adds at Marseille. If he wins the final, he will add 200 points and he will lose the 40 points of the quarterfinal of Sydney. So his ranking points will increase with 160 points. So he will have 1525 points if he wins the final. He still remains at spott 17. But the gap between him and gasquet will be smaller.

Marat Safin
Rafael Nadal
David Nalbandian
Roger Federer

"Watching Marat Safin play tennis is like riding
a roller coaster in the dark: it's much more fun
because you don't know what is going to happen next."

"And I always, after the first set, play better, better and better."
-- David Nalbandian after the 6-7 6-1 6-0 win over Tomas Berdych at the NASDAQ-100 Open.

"With all the injury problems we have in men's tennis at the moment, I'm happy to still be standing."
-- Roger Federer entering the Australian Open.

Re: Who will win Baggy or Gilles?

I want Gilles to win but most probably Baggy will take the title He's been playing very well this week, won a tough match against Nieminen in the semis...but on the other hand Gilles did a great match and beat Soderling in straight sets. I think Baggy's overall experience will be a crucial factor in the match! Also depends on how he'll deal with the public pressure...the Frenchies will cheer really hard for their dude

Allez Gilles!

Goooo SAFIN ~ BERDYCH ~ MURRAY ~ SIMON ~ NALBANDIAN ~ SODERLING
