His knee gets better and now he's got the flu!
Flu floors Henman
Tim Henman has been forced to withdraw from the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam next week after contracting flu.
The British number two has been confined to his bed for most of the week suffering with a temperature and a sore throat, which has left him feeling very frustrated.
“It’s been a rough week so far,” explained Henman, who is yet to play a competitive match in 2007.
“My knee was progressing nicely and I was enjoying myself in practice, and I was just starting to think about competing next week when I started to get a sore throat.
“The next thing I knew I started feeling lousy, my temperature went way up and I was spending most of my time in a cold sweat.
“So I obviously wasn’t able to practice or train and I’ve spent most of the week in bed.
“Hopefully by next week I’ll be over the worst of it but obviously it’s going to be impossible to play in Rotterdam so I’ve had to pull out.
“Frustrating isn’t the word but I’ve just got to accept it, deal with it, and move on. But it’s certainly not the start to the year I was looking for.”
Just hope he doesn't miss any more and comes back in Top 20 form
A WC for Dubai maybe if he's fit?
