Julien was playing better and choked away the match.

into the SF's

Jarkko is getting a little better with every match, the 2nd set was bad, but otherwise it was a good performance from him

Re: J.Nieminen def. J.Benneteau 6-2, 1-6, 6-3

Jarkko too strong mentally and will play the winner of Youzhny or Baghdatis.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

yes, the mental strenght was probably the key in this match

I would love to see a DC preview (Cyprus will host Finland in April) in the semis with Jarkko taking on Marcos.

Bullshit. He never had a serious chance to win that match.

Yeah, Benneteau didn't know how to play against Nieminen and let Jarkko control the tempo. No chance for the Frenchman.

Good to see that Jarkko's finally finding some kind of form
He needs to play his best game of the year so far though in the next round

Don't worry, it was an entertaining match anyway. Jarkko seemed at ease with the surface, moved well and had all the time in the world to hit his shots. Of course Benneteau's hitting style helped with all the topspin and thus higher bounce. At times Jarkko even used his trademark cat-and-mouse tactics to perfection.

With Jarkko there usually isn't a dull match
Only a few players can afford to stand and trade with Nieminen when he's playing well
