No connection here except we both enjoy the good game of tennis.

I see these questions are still unanswered.

How many players in the Open era have won the same titles 5x in a row, and what was the title? There are more than the two mentioned, that is Borg and Kafelnikov.

Which player had the most comebacks from 2 sets to love down and the number?

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Useless Tennis Trivia

Correct Wyver, the first one from the Bolleteri forehand factory managed the feat 8 times. Becker I think did it 6 or 7 times.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

There was the Hungarian player Balasz Taroczy who won the Dutch Open in Hilversum 1978-1982. Sure it wasn't the biggest tournament, but it was a worthy achievement anyway.

Re: Useless Tennis Trivia

It was 5 in a row, not the same tournament 5 times.
Sampras was stopped by Krajicek in 96, he won 5 out of 6, but not 5 in a row.
he won Wimbledon 93-95 and then 97-00

Re: Useless Tennis Trivia

Muster won Mexico City 4 times in a row. The funny thing about him he said playing at altitude was a problem for him because the courts were quicker and he never won Gstaad and only Kitzbhuel once, yet Mexico City is higher than both of them and he won that 4 times, maybe the field was weaker there?

Re: Useless Tennis Trivia

Mexico city is very slow clay, like Hamburg.
Maybe even slower.
