On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Useless Mens Tennis Trivia

Ok, another question for those are who are willing to take the challenge. This one is quite easy actually.

1. Who made the largest ranking jump in a year from outside the top 10 into the top 10?

2. What was his previous ranking and his year end ranking and what year was it?

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

1. Who was the last serve/volleyer to win the French Open? In what year and who did they defeat in the final?
OMG, I knew the first one. Yannick Noah, 1983. But, that's an improper question. All players serve and volley at some point.

Quote:
Which five players won their first respective titles at a Grand Slam since 1970, which year and Slam was it?
Guga - '97 Roland Garros...

Ummm...

Probably 4 shitty Aussie players who won Aussie Open when it sucked. Mark Edmondson, those scrubs.

Quote:
1. Which players in the Open era have won a TMS title as their first title, and which title?
Carretero, '94 Hamburg... and I'll guess Woodruff, Toronto some year.

Quote:
What was unique about the 1987 Basel final between Yannick Noah and Ronald Agenor?
They're both black. I'll guess the first all black final.

Quote:
Which three players have won more singles matches than the actual champion in Grand Slam events? Which events where they and when?
'77 Wimbledon - McEnroe had to qualify, I think.

'97 Roland Garros - I think DeWulf maybe had to also.

I didn't cheat on any of these either.

Agassi, from 120 to 6, but I'm guessing that answer would be too easy.

Cañas just missed out by one place, if so he would have the record.
Goran finished # 12 that year.

Your answer was Galo Blanco the Spaniard. I think it was something to do with the fact that he didn't like Korda's conduct on court and not the fact that he was banned for nandrolone.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

You are right, that's why I gave you a baby question like that, btw what year was it?

'97 was the year he sucked, '98 he came back. Yay.

The record before that... ummm. Some crappy guesses... Kafelnikov in '94.

Considering Noah was predominately a serve/volleyer on all surfaces, therefore he was the last one to do it and win the French Open that's why the question wasn't improper.

All the answers are there if you look through the pages and I don't think Gimeno, Wilander fit into that category.

Carretero was 96 and Woodruff had won a tournament before winning Toronro

Not bad, but I only partially believe you about the cheating.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
