Cañas d. Peya 46 61 64

Now that's what I LOVE to see.

It's a dead 5th rubber, result doesn't matter.

Cañas goes a set down.

Does he concede it?

Does he fuck.

He gets in there and fights for the win, anyway, regardless of the importance. He wants to win.

Great stuff Willy

Chiudinelli came back from one set down too, and more impressive considering they had already lost the tie.

True, but lets spread some Willy-lovin´ and bump this thread, cause we all want to see the usual ones posting in this thread too

Why does one have to be more impressive than the other? Can't it just be that both were impressive?

I like a lot of players.

My point is that these dead rubber matches are hardly thread-worthy (let alone worthy of an inflamed speech), unless it's a big upset. I mean, wow, Canas has beaten a player who is notably worse than him (despite both having almost the same ranking) in a dead rubber, let's all worship him.

Impressive weekend for Canas, I expect him to climb the rankings without too much problem.

It had some importance because Cañas is now fighting to be the 2nd Argentine player in DC with Acasuso, Calleri and Del Potro.

Well that's nothing short of what I expect from Canas. He has shown his grit and determination multiple times over the years.
