Unhappy dayum, i'm no longer a star/note to Pea...

after Becca's notice, i went lurking in the Duckpond only to discover that i was starring in one of their negative polls. now tonite i can't find it. and it was a loooooong thread too. so much pathetic talent gone to mud.

altho' i must confess that when i checked last night only one person had voted me the vilest anti-Duck fan. i won't say who the poll winner was

apologies to Pea if you can't find the incriminating thread. some Duck fans have a way of running for cover when confronted have ya noticed...

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

Re: dayum, i'm no longer a star/note to Pea...

Tennis chick, I thought I was the most vile. I guess I haven't got enough votes yet. And I don't go to the Duckpond, so I don't expect that I will get a starring role in a poll over-which I would be honored to, since it shows that my opinions matter. Unless a certain poster starts voting me in as "most vile"-after I called her Buffy Sue...

ha ha ha...i never went to that Murky Place before to be honest. i was stunned to discover that they had so much time to discuss us. you'd think the Duck's tennis would be their main focus...

i'm off to bed. perchance to dream. hopefully not of ducks...

Are you referring to that thread made by heya against "bashers and haters"? that thread is an old one from last year.

I miss: Ivan Lendl, Korda, Novak, Bruguera, Rios, Kucera, Courier, Mantilla, Costa, Santoro and Ferreira.

Good luck to:

Gaudio, Murray, Florian Mayer, Chela, Nalbandian, Radek Stepanek, Volandri, Youzhny and Verdasco.

Ahhh too bad, TC. Well, I began lurking in the duckpond about a minute ago and did find some interesting stuff. There is a poll created by andylover_16.:taped: It asks who they find the most annoying...........becca, you, me, and someone else.

I came in second behind the queen of annoyance, becca.

GoOD luCk iN 2004:
{{{Alex Corretja}}}
{{{Roger Federer}}}
{{{Janko Tipsarevic}}}
{{{Andreas Vinciguerra}}}
{{{Mikhail Youzhny}}}
(Agustin Calleri)(Hicham Arazi)(Nicolas Kiefer)(Sebastien Grosjean)(Rafael Nadal)
(Tommy Robredo)(Xavier Malisse)(Gustavo Kuerten)(Rainer Schuettler)(Fernando Gonzalez)
(Mark Philippoussis)(Gaston Gaudio)(Albert Montanes)(Ivan Ljubicic)(Mariano Zabaleta) & Many More...

Re: dayum, i'm no longer a star/note to Pea...

I am thinking I would have to be a contender for the most annoying poster on that board, then again maybe they should have a new poll to incorporate some of the newbies.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

What on earth are you talking about?!!!

Such polls have existed, but I never made one and I don't generally participate in those discussions.

I'm baffled by this, tennischick.

No, George, they haven't gotten around to everyone yet. By the time they do, they would have called me a hick, and you a Nazi....

Oh here is the poll, tennischick.

poll

You will note that it was started not by me, but by a 13-14 year-old. The thread title was changed many months ago. I haven't even voted on it (but I'm keeping my options open )

cheers,

Q

The one that Andylover made.. I had good fun with that one. I think that I lobbyed for votes so that I would WIN. I should go into politics, I'm just that good!

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

lmao...the real star of that thread was the fight that broke out in it's later pages...

not that I had anything to do with it *adjusts halo*

RealityRyan gave me a prime example of why us duck fans get a bad rep...and then never came back
