Del Potro

What kind of player is he? Havent seen him but seems to be a rising star. Is he made for allround-surface like Canas/Nalbandian or is he claycourt player?

Re: Del Potro

Hardcourt is his favorite surface so I think he sill be like a Nalbandian. I have only been able to see a match of his in Basel and in Adelaide but I have enjoyed what I have seen. He had some great down the line and passing shots in both matches. He still seems to get a little nervy at times and take his foot off of the gas.

He is fun to watch and I hope to see more of him. He also seems to have a pretty good attitude which I like.

I like a lot of players.

Re: Del Potro

His backhand is similar to Safins', very solid and maybe his best shot.
He has improved a lot his serve lately which is very good because he should take advantage of his height (1.95 m).
