Getting bagelled by Mayer is one of the most embarrassing experiences a tennis player could ever have.

Proves that Mayer is still around After Söderling made at least the semis in Doha, I did not expected this win although Mayer potentially has the tools to beat somebody like Söderling.

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Seems like Mayer kept his focus for a change. Didn't expect Mayer and Kohlschreiber to come through today. Not bad.

let’s get around and see different places,
put a smile on those distant faces,
wipe away your sorrow with no traces."

Good day for German tennis...I expected Soderling's defeat - he showed one and a half week ago in Doha that he has big mental problems.

Sodo's probably the biggest choker on tour at the moment.

Fantastic result for Mayer. Still a chance for him to make the Davis Cup team.

Did Soderling fall asleep in the last set?
