Stefan, you muppet.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Didn't know Wayno had that in him. What a brilliant effort. Was 2-0 down in the fifth as well, so how many times did he break serve?

Very nice score for evergreen Wayne. Stefan was leading 2:0 in the 3rd and 5th set

Re: Arthurs def. Koubek 1-6, 6-7, 7-6, 6-2, 6-3

Thanks guys, you just made it worse. To think this is the man who made the quarters five years ago beating Saulnier 8-6 in the fifth from 0-6, 1-6, 1-4, 15-40 down, and then Blake in the next round 6-4 in the fifth from two sets down. What goes around comes around, I suppose.

Arthurs at Melbourne Park in the past lost after 2-0 sets leading (Knippschild) and won after 0-2 (Daniel)
In all these Arthurs' and Koubek's cases was tie-break in the third

Yes! Go Wayne! Over last 3 years he has won just one GS singles match (Wimbledon 2005), nice to see him winning a match in front of home crowd. Next match Fleishman, seems perfectly possible. To think that he will turn 36 in couple of months...

Happy to see an Aussie wildcard earn a victory for the fans. Doubt there will be very many.

:retard: I had such high hopes for Stef, after seeing horrendous tennis from him in Sydney, and great work in the first few sets here.... then he fell apart as wayne gathered momentum. Auf gehts, Wayne.

what an incredible match, i was there, wayne look screwed after two sets, i was expecting him too lose that 3rd set as well. It was just a great fight from wayne, once wayne got momentum, the crowd got momentum, it went wayne's way. To be there for maybe Wayne's last ever singles win, front row, was just great. I already would have to say this will be the highlight of the tournament for me.
