It seems like it was a 'headcase' match, from PHM anyway at least A breadstick in the tie-break, then goes on to get dished out a bagel?

Decent win for Gasquet anyway

Re: R.Gasquet beat P.H Mathieu 6:4 6:7(1) 6:0

Typical French match.

Gasquet led *5-3 30-0 in the first, DFed on SP and then got broken. PHM then served to level the set but served two consecutive DFs and then got broken. Somehow, PHM took the second set to a TB and won it convincingly. In the third, Gasquet raced ahead 5-0 but while serving it out, had to face BPs before he closed it out.

Anyway, not closing the match out in the TB will hurt Gasquet tomorrow. It's 1 am in Sydney now, no?

Re: R.Gasquet beat P.H Mathieu 6:4 6:7(1) 6:0

I wouldn't be bothered by that , Moya is far more tired and much older so he should worry more

Maybe was too excited with the fact that he turned 25 during that 3rd set then

Anyway, congrats Richard and thank you for a set

You're saying that the second set was a birthday present?
