The only surprising thing here is that tomic actually seemed to fight a bit in this match. Broke back when Herbert served for the first set and was also a break up in the second. However there was also his usual crap. Including an under arm serve for no reason at 5-5 in the first. Tomic never really should have even been allowed to play here without qualifying. I know he won't but the sport would be better I he just retire already
Well it's not surprising he tried since his career depends on it. Still it's on one of his worst surfaces, so a win here was not likely even at his best. Time to go to Asia and play HC CH's to get that ranking back up.
Btw, when it's a tweet link, you can put the number in the link (922476368083996673 in this case) between the tweet tags and the video will be shown in the post.
How is he poor? It's clear he doesn't give a single fuck about tennis or his fans for a long time now. Why should his fans care? Him dropping out of the top 100 is nobody elses fault but his own.
NID that the usual suspect is in here defending Tomic
Glad he lost so that he definitely won't make AO directly. I hope they don't give him a WC, and make him lower himself to playing the WC playoff in December.
For all the carry on from this brat both channel 7 and tennis Australia will still bump up his chances and give him prime time matches despite being a complete waste of space.
It happens every year the hacks at channel 7 bail up the serious contenders to ask if they fear Bernie, the guy should be banished to court 18 after being made to play the qualifiers.
Yep, just like they did for Hewitt for his farewell tour.
But this match spells trouble for Bernie, losing against a doubles specialist, and a continued downward spiral in the rankings.
