Biggest upset of the week and no thread, a bit surprised.

It just shows the lack of interest on the forum for both Richie and Istomin. I thought about Richie winning that CH right before this Tournament. That CH might not have been one of his better ideas?

After Denis defeated Nole at the AO there was interest in him. It's usually a good idea to keep playing when you are winning, but in this case going from clay to indoors may have been too much for Gas, though he did have a great 1st set.

We barely have any match threads this week anyways(except for Fognini matches), Gasquet hasn't been in great form recently, struggled mightily in a few matches in the clay Challenger last week and the transition obviously wasn't the most successful.

Enjoy every moment of tennis. Enjoy the rise of the young, the brilliance of the peak, and the passion of the old. Enjoy dominance, enjoy diversity.

Fight. Drama. Shots. Epic matches, fun stats, tennis!

No, only dropped 1 set all week.

Well one match was 4-6 7-6 6-4 or something, and the final was 7-6 7-6, those two matches were surely big struggles.

Yes, he should not have struggled in the match where he dropped a set, but every match can't be perfect, but the last 2 matches were decent players.
