Berdych must be the unluckiest player on the planet having this scenario at his home. Probably the best chance of TW to score today. NK is going to be a madman on a mission, while Berdych... he's still Berdych. He was pretty overwhelmed last night. Hopefully he'll handle the singles better.

TBH they would have selected Dimitrov if the Laver cup wasn't played in Czech, so Berdych should feel lucky he got the chance to earn some serious money and play in front of his home crowd.
It's a very smart move to have NK play Berdych as the percentage of a win is higher and if team world wins the doubles as well then it would be break even for Day 2 (as Nadal and Federer likely to win their single matches)
It's a fun and high quality exho, which doesn't really have an exho feel to it. But by all means feel free to get excited about Basilashvili and Gojowczyk playing in Metz instead.
@barbadosan Yeah, although it is going to be underrated if Dzumhur does win this title -- first for Bosnia & Herzegovina if it happens. It is like if Darian King wins a title eventually.
Yeh we'll rejoice - but we're also level-headed enough to know that won't exactly shake the foundations of the tennis universe.
