Will Federer, Nadal, and/or Djokovic win the career double slam in 2018?

Rafa needs the AO, Rogie/Djokovic need the FO.... Rafa could, harder for Rogie/Djokovic, Djokovic's mainly bad luck at the FO (i.e. 2012 and 2014 double faulted both times on match point) and Rogie might not ever play it again!! Likely none of the above in 2018, but Rafa might have the best chance..

Djokovic will win the DCGS and reclaim BOAT title.

Good chance for Djokovic, small chance for Rafa, no chance for Fed.

As of right now, Nadal looks to have a better shot than Djokovic. Federer needs to play another match on clay before he's even brought into this debate.

Federer most likely won't. And that's if he even chooses to play on clay.
Nadal has a great chance if his 2017 form continues.
Djokovic needs his pre-2016 RG motivation back.

Missing Grand Slam Epics:
-Australian Open: Murray vs Wawrinka
-French Open: Federer vs Murray
-Wimbledon: Djokovic vs Wawrinka
-US Open: Federer vs Nadal

Re: Will Federer, Nadal, and/or Djokovic win the career double slam in 2018?

Definitely not Federer. I can see both Nadal and Djokovic though. If Novak comes back healthy and gains momentum for the French Open, why not? Clay is a much more forgiving surface, will give him more time to move and boost his defence. At the same time, will hinder other player's serve and winner ratio. Of course you have to throw the Nadal factor in there.

Nadal most likely, Djokovic second most. It wouldn't surprise me hugely if they both did it. I doubt Federer will even enter the French so I don't rate his chances.

Nole once he comes back Nadal will never win another grand slam and would be hard pressed to even vulture 1 master 1000

Re: Will Federer, Nadal, and/or Djokovic win the career double slam in 2018?

Certainly all 3 of them have chances.

I say Novak and Rafa have about the same chances if both are in form.

Last 5 AO Rafa has entered : 3 Finals.

Last 6 FO Novak has entered : 1 Win, 3 Finals.

For Roger is a little harder because he will be almost 37 by the next FO and Roland Garros is the most physically demanding tournament of the year.

Rafa - VEB - Fed - Sascha - Wawrinka - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Tsonga.
