The Prophesy:

2. French Open: Clay Warrior

Nole will be back, which means neither Federer or Nadal will win another slam again.

Nole will win 3 slams minimum in 2018.

NOT evey player (not even Novak) can be Roger. Roger is a NATURAL (and I am a Rafa fan). He can wake up and come to the court and win. LOT of fans have a "hope" that somehow Novak will do a Roger just because he took a break ala Roger.

Let us wait and see if Novak returns and then see how he performs at AO.

2017 season is still not over. If AZ manages one more Masters' and if another youngster (say Shapovolv) dies well in some of these, the dynamics can change for 2018. Too early to talk about 2018. Roger, Rafa are on the wrong side of 30, Novak and Andy are in mental and/or physical slump..

JUST like 2017, 2018 can surpris us.

I like Thiem and Zverev but they have work to do.

they are no match for Roger and Rafa.

they are no match for healthy and fit Nole either.

I think if Novak loses Aussie he'll not be a big threat for RG and Theim is gradually improving and his Clay court game can Outlast Nadal

French - Novak Djokovic

Wimbledon - Novak Djokovic

US open - Novak Djokovic

I think Roger can take AO if it plays really fast and he doesn't wear out his body trying for pointless #1. He won't win past 2018.
I first thought Murray but no I actually think he's done and since the kids haven't stepped up yet safe bet is 1 more good season for Novak.

Re: 2018 Grand Slam Winners: The Prophesy

Gonna go with a long shot here:

AO: Zverev
RG: Djokovic
Wimby: Murray
USO: Federer

But of course Dull will snatch one of these slams and ruin it (except Wimby, he sucks there these days).

Roger Federer defeats Rafael Nadal in 5 sets to win the title of the Australian Open, adding to a total of 18 Grand Slam titles, more than any player in the Open Era.

Wimbledon is a better bet for Roger

Unlikely we'll have the same winners in the same order as this year:

AO - Nadal
RG - Nadal
Wim - Djokovic
US - Zverev

Murray's best slam, and Novak plays well there. It's also later in the season so the two of them will be match ready barring no more injury. In AO at the beginning those two should be out of form still. If it plays as fast or even a little faster Fed can keep sets quick. He might like grass more but I just don't see it. All the MIA players should be back and ready by then.

Fair enough.
Other than Djokovic,I don't see anyone as a big threat to Fed at Wimbledon but I totally agree about the Aussie Open rationalization
